Day 7

• It's been a beautiful, rainy day. There's been a constant pitter patter of rain hitting the house and I just wanted to soak it all in. The rain, the pitter patter, the entire atmosphere.
  
  When it rains like it is today, I always think of that scene from Bambi where they have that amazing storm in the forest and all the animals are running for cover. There's lightning and roaring thunder, and the whole forest is subdued.

  It's like that here today. Fewer cars, no people. There's an eerie calm. It feels as if I'm being forced to sit, reflect and just bask in the moment. 
• 
  So today, #7, I'm grateful for the storm, the reflection and the quiet calm that has come with.
