Day 42

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the past hour, it's been thundering so hard that the house is shaking. But I doubt it will rain. It's been like that for the past couple of days. There will be massive thundering and lightning but no rain. And other times, there will be a sudden downpour while the sun is still out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Things are not what they seem.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Likewise, sometimes there are major decisions we need to make. We think and stress and ask for advice. And maybe those events don't really change much. What to major in, what job to take, etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 
And then there are the small insignificant choices. The tiny choices that change the trajectory of our lives. Like deciding to take a different path home and ending up in an accident. Like opening up a realty website randomly to find the home of your dreams suddenly fits your budget. Like deciding to come back from a trip three days early which leads to you meeting your future spouse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They're funny - the tiny little decisions that seem to change everything. Who knows if there's another one around the next turn. And today, #42, I'm grateful for all the happy little perchance happenings that have brought me to where I am today.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
