Day 19

-
- I love this saying of Mother Teresa's. All of it, especially the ending, is so profound. I like to think that I could one day actually become the type of person who did good constantly. Doing good only for God and only for myself, regardless of others.
I love this saying so much, I made it a point to hang it up in a central location in my house, so that I could be reminded of it constantly. Of course, that is the day when I completely ceased to regard it.
- And now, I'm beginning to worry that I'm becoming the type of person Mother Teresa was warning against. Unreasonable. Self-centered. Selfish? It's so easy to forget what the ultimate goal is when you're living the day to day. But, I still want to believe it's just a few temporary lapses and not something routine.
- On these days, #19, I'm grateful for my family. For putting up with me in my not so great moments. In spite of my lack of better judgement, for being there for me, anyway. .
